Search Engine Optimization: Keyword Research

Saturday is Keyword research day.
Take the next thirty minutes and bone up on your keywords.
Are you hitting relevant keywords for your niche?
What are the relevant things your market is searching for? Are you really catching them all? Google adsense has an excellent tool for research and my personal favorite is wordtracker (affiliate link).
With both of these you can find out what people are searching for and with wordtracker you will find things you never would have thought of otherwise. Give their free trial a go.
What’s hot right now?
Trends change so use Google trends to see what people are looking for right now. Is there a topic that tickles your fancy? Can you post a blog and have it go to the top of google in a matter of minutes? It works. I have used google trends and posted blog posts that deliver hundreds of visitors within minutes.
Try it out. See what happens.
