Get Off your Lazy Bum
10 November, 2008, 2:41 pm
Do you ever feel like you just want to lay around doing nothing? do you sometimes wish life were really all about the television and the beer?
If only all the ads on late night TV about instant millions were accurate, we could all have the lifestyle we have always dreamed of without ever doing any real work.
Sadly, or perhaps thankfully, there is more to life that Television and beer. Look at the size of that cat after all! Who wants to look like that!
No, I am afraid it isn’t that easy. Sure a nice nap every once in a while is almost a spiritual experience, but life doesn’t work that way. So now it is time to get motivated.

So if you are reading this from the comfort of your sofa, its time you got up and went to your office. The election is over, all thats left is Nancy Grace, and no one really wants to watch her spout on and on about the next rant she will have after the Caylee thing wears out. So you have no more excuses.
We are chronic self-medicators, and the food, the fat, the alcohol and the television is just an excuse for doing what you need to be doing.
You have invested some time into a business, or you are trying to, so why not stop medicating yourself with a dream and a beer, and start putting some things into practice that will boost your business.
Go leave comments on some blog posts, subscribe to somebody new, and post a blog or two of your own.
Then you need to brainstorm ways to move more into your niche. Are there some avenues of marketing to your niche you have not explored?
Maybe you need to join a couple of niche social networks. Google “social network -keyword-” you will find social networks related to just about anything. Find some new contacts and get to know what they are looking for.
Stop napping and start working.
