Gleaning that will improve your business

Do you buy everything you see that promises to help? Do you bother to read sales scripts just for the information? Do you pay attention to the way you are being sold a product? You should!
Pay attention to what is happening around you! Most of us are passive participants. Successful business owners are active influencers. Active influencers are always gleaning and recycling things they can use.
What is gleaning?
Gleaning is an ancient agricultural technique common in the Biblical world. It can still be done today in and out of the fields. The idea is that after the farmer goes through his field and picks the good stuff, there are always leftovers. There are things laying around, or even still on the stem that could potentially feed a family or two for the coming year!
When you look at some some of the large farmers in your current business model, you will find lots of companies who give away all sorts of great information in their sales pitches. Take Nike as an example. If you really wanted to learn to be a better athlete, you could learn a good bit from paying close attention to the commercials!
When you read about some guru selling you a book that will improve your google ad revenue, you can pay close attention to his sales text and probably make a few changes that will benefit you.
Now, it is fair to say there is plenty you won’t get. When you let the farmer go through the field before you, he gets the good stuff, and you have to pay if you want that. But the leftovers aren’t all that bad and they can feed a family for awhile!
So how can you use this to your advantage?
We are going to look at this case study. I want you to watch this video. They are discussing the coming launch of stompernet formula five. Yes I have been plugging this alot – frankly for three reasons.

3. This serves as an example of so many things that I want you to learn that it is folly not to urge you to pay close attention.
